The reception staff spoke English, which is more than I can say for most of the other hotels we stayed in. They were friendly helpful and efficient The rooms were OK though getting the heating going involved a bit of trial and error. the Wi Fi / Internet worked well, though it would be an idea to have some kind of workspace area with suitable desks and chairs for computer users. Its central location and car parking facilities made it a good choice for us as we had arranged to have a meeting with delegates from Germany and Lithuania who also stayed in the hotel. I liked the background music - not too loud but worth listening to
No one involved in the catering seems to have been trained in how to make British tea, but then this seems common throughout Spain & Portugal. The hotel was quiet, hardly any sign of life in the place, but I guess with the recession in both Spain & Portugal making life difficult for everyone running a business is not a lot that can be done in this respect. The room cleaners were a bit too enthusiastic

Staff was courteus and friendly. They were helpful in more ways than I would have expected. We were given access to their meeting room for our meetings for two weeks that we were there. The manager was even better than all the staff. We had come from abroad to finish some research work since one of our colleague was working at the University. I would recommend the place to anybody.

I greatly appreciated the kindness of the staff. This included providing facilities for my work with colleagues. These were almost perfect for the scientific discussions we have had during two weeks.

I stayed in this pleasant hotel for 6 days, had enjoyable experience, liked its decent location short walk to Serralves, the beach, downtown, the airport, and pretty much anywhere in Porto. The staff was affable, provided an easy check-in and a late check-out. There were central heating, a work desk and television in the rooms, which made them good-sized and well-equipped. Everything was simply great.

The hotel staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The location was perfect for our business meetings as it was close to the metro stations and bus stops were directly behind. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.
It was a particularly cold time of year so rooms relied on heat from air con to warm them up.
